Lee Trevino Profile
Lee Trevino (born 1939) is an innovator in one of the most traditional of sports: professional golf. Born into poverty, he mastered the sport with a homemade club and an unconventional golf swing, rising in the ranks to become one of the top golfers of his generation.
Trevino won a total of 29 PGA Tour events, including six majors (U.S. Open twice, British Open twice, and the PGA Championship twice). He went on to win another 29 events on the Champions Tour.

The Lee Trevino-designed Championship golf course at Rarity Club is going to be a special experience for golfers. The Cumberland Mountains and Lake Nickajack provide a fabulous backdrop while playing through the 18 holes. The gentle slope of the terrain provides an excellent canvas for Lee Trevino to craft a course that will be visually stunning, yet fun and exciting to play. Lee has designed the course to take full advantage of the lake views. As of now, early May 2008, construction has begun, and we are excited to see the course unfold before us. Please stop by and let us show you the results of the construction crew’s efforts thus far.
