A FEW WORDS ABOUT CASA OBSEDIANA

Crafted at the base of El Volcan de Tequila, Casa Obsidiana honors the true culture of Mexico and connects us through the rare power of the volcano’s ancient stone, the obsidian. 

Once captured from the base of the volcano, it is then aged in French oak from the fine wine and barrels of Burgundy. Each bottle is created from a trio of Masters, a Master Tequilero, a Master Winemaker, and a master contemporary Mexican artist, and embellished with an obsidian relic representing the beauty found in their connection through positive energy. 

FORGED FROM THE ELEMENTS

Casa Obsidiana represents the shared vision of two families, called to bring their mastery and artistry in the crafts of tequila and terroir, in a place that unites the four elements of matter - earth, air, water, and fire - with the human elements of mastery and artistry. This tequila begins at the base of el Volcán de Tequila, where obsidian formed hundreds of thousands of years ago and is found in abundance, nestled among the volcanic earth that nurtures our estate-grown Blue Weber agave. It is then aged and finished in the fine wine barrels of Burgundy to impart the nuanced flavor of smooth vanilla from French Oak.
